The long-awaited reissue of the first 2LP set of the much-talked-about "Studio Recordings Intro to the Matrix" album (released in 2005), which was provided by Rita Marley and became a hot topic as "Bob Marley's Miracle Treasures!
In October 1973, right after Bob Marley & The Wailers released their first international album "Catch A Fire", they toured the U.S. and unexpectedly exceeded the popularity of Sly & The Family Stone, who were the main act of the tour, and were removed from the tour. The result was that they were dropped from the tour. The young Jamaican lions' momentum carried them to a legendary show at the Matrix club in San Francisco, where they played as a replacement. This album was recorded as a studio jam in rehearsal for the show at the Matrix, which has been the subject of much discussion in the band's autobiography and other publications, and was previously unknown.

ボブ・マーリー＆ザ・ウェイラーズが初世界進出作品『キャッチ・ア・ファイア』を発表した直後、73年10月にアメリカ・ツアーを行った際に、メイン・アク トであったスライ＆ザ・ファミリー・ストーンを喰ってしまう、という思わぬ結果となり、そのツアーからはずされるはめになった。そして、その若きジャマ イカの獅子たちの勢いは、代替ライヴとなったサンフランシスコのクラブ、マトリックスでの伝説のライヴとなった。本作は、その自伝等でも大きな話題とな っているマトリックスでのライヴのためのリハーサルを兼ねたスタジオ・ジャムとして残されていたもので、これまでその存在すら知られていなかった音源である。
